GMP-compliant TEM for Viral Safety, Virus Characterization and Quantification

neotem Bioanalytics: Focused on precision

Neotem Bioanalytics, formally Zentrum für Ultrastrukturelle Diagnostik (ZUD), is a specialist contract testing organization (CTO) providing transmission electron microscopy services for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. The organization is part of the Institut für Innovationstransfer an der Universität Bielefeld GmbH (IIT-GmbH).

Founded in 1999, the ZUD was rebranded as neotem Bioanalytics in 2023 to reflect its modernized service portfolio and its continued focus on GMP-compliant electron microscopy for biopharmaceutical applications. As a specialized and highly focused contract laboratory, neotem Bioanalytics supports global biopharmaceutical companies with viral safety testing, virus characterization, and quantitative particle analysis.
All services are performed under a EU GMP-compliant quality system, ensuring regulatory-grade data for use in development, quality control, and regulatory submissions.

Located in Bielefeld, Germany, neotem operates as a small, expert-driven organization, enabling close scientific interaction, rapid decision-making, and high responsiveness for complex analytical projects.

Our team combines more than 40 years of collective expertise in transmission electron microscopy, virology, cell culture, and quality assurance, providing highly specialized analytical support for advanced biologics, vaccines, and gene therapy products.
